Equitadorian-Equitian Conflict

Nearly two decades ago, capitilist culture swept through Equitador. The nation was renamed Equitia and corporations became a huge part of the politics in Equitia. The culture of Equitador was nearly forgotten in Equitia's culture centers before Dorv Gris reformed the High Council and pushed the capitilist regime out of Equitador. For a decade now the democratic socialists lived rather peacefully, free from crime. But recently Jackson Gray has taken a small town in Equitador, called Borderlands, and conquered it, claiming it as the Capitol of the new Equitia. In taking it he destroyed much of the infrastructure, giving rise to a period of anarchy before the heads of the most important corporations in the area could gain control over the area.

Equitador has set up a defensive border encircling Borderlands, to keep terrorist sympathizers in Equitador and terrorists out. There are also signs of ESF (Equitador Special Forces) preparations for tactical attack against the terrorist leaders.

The Government of Virgo sends fighter jets and helicopters to establish a no fly zone over the borderlands to prevent bloodshed. All the while Virgoan Corporations are selling weapons to both the Equitadorians and Equitians. Emperor Julius Davis has a meeting with Dorv Grise to discuss a plan of action

Equitador, shocked and dismayed, by the rebels institution of slavery, begins construction of a large cement wall to seperate all Equitadorian land from terrorist controlled and to impede the progress of the terrorists. General Secretary Dorv gladly meets with the Emperor of Virgo, considering him a close friend and ally from Gargantuan.

The Equitadorian Rebels, due to lack of their own armed forces, contract corporate soldiers to patrol their lands and make sure Equitadorian spies, soldiers, and other threats do not infiltrate.

These companies also have provided many of the residents with firearms, in case of emergency and the government is awaiting further action from Equitador before doing anything too extreme.
